ISSessions CTF 2026 — 1st Place

9. Mar 2026 — Jackson Barker

This post will not go in-depth or contain write-ups on solved challenges, as I am still busy with the last of my midterms and a bigger article on moving my homelab from Nginx Proxy Manager to Pangolin. Last month, I took part in a Fantasy-themed capture the flag competition hosted by Sheridan College's ISSessions. I am proud to say that our team, consisting of myself, Chris Panetta, Dian Kent, and Muhammad Burhan Chattha claimed 1st place at the event, and I personally placed 1st in individual points. As always, the challenges were top-notch and the pwn challenges in particular presented practical simulations of vulnerability exploitation that are hard to come across in other learning settings. Thank you to the ISSessions team for hosting an amazing event once again, and I look forward to seeing many of you at Tacops!
